Funding

The Race and Capitalism Project is able to provide funding for endeavors devoted to expanding the research on race and capitalism. This includes but is not limited to panel presentations, conferences, editorial projects, guest speakers, and more. If you have a project you would like to propose, please fill out application materials and send them to Project Administrator, maniza@uchicago.edu.

R&C does not fund individual travel. R&C will only consider project proposals from affiliated* graduate students and faculty members. All requests for funding will be subject to review.

Deadlines for funding applications are as followed:

• December 1, 2019

• April 1, 2020

• September 1, 2020

*Affiliation is defined as being a member of the project (see membership list) or having participated regularly in project events, such as the Brown Bag and conferences (for graduate students).
